Inventory of serial numbers of all plug and play capable monitors in the hardware inventory of Microsoft® Systems Management Server 2.0, 2003 and System Center Configuration Manager 2007.

By using the tool EDID, developed by TOP TECHNOLOGIES CONSULTING GmbH and phat consulting GmbH, NoIDMIF-files will be generated, which will be taken into account from Microsoft® Systems Management Server 2.0, 2003 and System Center Configuration Manager 2007 during the routine hardware inventory. For analyzing the inventory data, the standard tool for the hardware inventory can be used, e.g. web-reports from Microsoft® Systems Management Server 2.0, 2003 and System Center Configuration Manager 2007.
