TOP TECHNOLOGIES introduces new version of Remote Power Management 2009 for SCCM

TOP TECHNOLOGIES has launched a new version of their web-based application, RPM 2009. The new version passed the "Works with Microsoft Windows Server® 2008 R2 Logo" requirements to provide customers increased safety, innovative user interfaces and improvements in reliability. RPM 2009 allows system administrators to wake up or shut down specific or a collection of computers to accomplish an unattended software installation or to achieve other administrative tasks. RPM 2009 analyses computers’ energy consumption and provides a self service portal view for employees in addition to the reporting and dashboard view. Furthermore the software also integrates natively into Microsoft SCCM for administrators. In order to accomplish repeatable tasks, wake up and shut down jobs can be created with a daily, weekly or monthly recurrence time.

“Innovation is highly important for our ISV-Community and we are committed to ensuring that our partners promote prospective software experiences”, said Ross Brown, vice-president of the ISV and Solutions Partners for the Worldwide Partner Group at Microsoft. “Owing to the compatibility with the new Microsoft operating systems ISVs have a decisive competitive advantage for they provide their customers permanently access to innovative technologies.”

„TOP TECHNOLOGIES is pleased about the launch of the new version of RPM 2009“, said Michael Hannemann, Managing Director at TOP TECHNOLOGIES. “Owing to the compatibility with Microsoft Windows Server® 2008 R2 we can offer our customers significant advantages, including sophisticated management features, intelligent power management and flexible access administration to improve mobile working.”
